Artist Statement

I have been painting now for 14 years and it is the best escape I know from the world's and my personal troubles. I love depicting characters in my portraits and my current "What's for Dinner" series is encouraging me to greater creativity both in the kitchen and on the Arches watercolor paper! The friends I have made through painting groups from our Wednesday studio group to FSWS and FWS have been another huge bonanza for me!
