PLEASE NOTE: Suncoast (FSWS) exhibitions receive entries online. Acceptance into the show is based on your submitted images. Take a quality photo of your painting before matting and framing. Please include your name, painting title in your image file name before you upload the file for submittal.

NEW ACCEPTANCE PROCESS: Artists are notified prior to the receiving date as to whether their submission(s) are accepted by the exhibitions judge during the online acceptance review.

Upon delivery to the venue, submissions will be reviewed for compliance with prospectus rules. Those not in compliance will not be admitted.

The Board determines the number and monetary amount of awards based on the number of entries, the cost of the venue and the recommendation of the judge.

Members receive Signature Status after being accepted into two juried exhibitions. Juried exhibitions may be held either online or at a public venue, at the determination of the board.

ONLY MEMBERS may enter FSWS Exhibitions. Fee for entry is $25 for the first painting with an additional $10 for two paintings for a total of $35 to enter two paintings. On occasion, special arrangements for 3 paintings may be provided. Dues must be current during any part of the exhibition cycle to enter an exhibition.

To be eligible for the Transparent Award:

*Artist statement as to the authenticity of the transparent nature of their work must be completed to be eligible for the Excellence in Transparent Watercolor Award. Click below for the form, complete and attach to the back of your artwork submission.
