Heather McCullough is our demo artist on March 23.  She is a signature member of Florida Watercolor Society and teaches classes and workshops at Venice Art Center.  She enjoys  studio and plein air painting and the planning process that helps assure a successful painting.

Heather will demonstrate her use of value studies to arrive at an effective composition and then translate that into a painting.  Please bring a reference photo that you would like to develop into a painting, sketchbook, pencil, usual palette/paints, brushes, and quarter size sheet paper or smaller, and the other usual paraphernalia: water container, paper towels, support for paper - I use a piece of cardboard-bulldog clips, or tape to secure paper to backing). My goal is to do a 1-1.5 hour demo and have at least an hour for everyone to start their own work. Thanks so much for your work and support of this. I really appreciate it.

(Look for the yellow bow on the classroom door.

The classroom is in the long low building

at the back of the campus.)

$10 per person payable online for both members and non-member guests.

Coffee, water and snacks will be provided.
